Programs for 20s and 30s
We live in a society in which many younger people say that they are seeking a faith community that both shares their values of love and inclusion and that is also in touch with the most ancient and meaningful traditions of the church. Saint Ignatius sits on a corner of West End Avenue and 87th Street living out those very precepts: we participate very deeply in the liturgical and spiritual traditions of the Catholic faith that are our inheritance and, at the same, welcome all people to participate at all levels in the ministry of our church.
At Saint Ignatius we have a growing number of you in your 20s and 30s—single and married, of all orientations, straight, students and professionals. We are in the process of developing programs especially for you, a group that has for a while now been under represented throughout the Episcopal Church. We are looking to offer activities that meet your spiritual need for fellowship as well as for deepening your knowledge and experience of our faith.
In the meanwhile, please be in touch with the Rector if you have any questions or suggestions about what we have to offer young adults here at Saint Ignatius. Please be in touch especially if you are interested in helping us launch our new programs or get involved in the life of the parish.
