| Children and Families
Families with children are welcome at all our liturgies, especially at both our Sunday morning masses.
Sunday mornings we have professional child care available for infants and children in our well-appointed playroom. Parents and children may come and go throughout the service.
We also have crayons and lectionary-based coloring sheets available in the back of the church for children to use during the service.
Sunday School
Sunday School meets each week during the academic year at 10 A.M., between the 9 o’clock and 11 o’clock Masses. Parents should bring children to the Sunday School Room next to the playroom. Click here for the Sunday School schedule.
We use a straight-forward, Biblically and liturgically based curriculum, developed in-house, that focusses upon story telling and the children’s ability to respond to what they hear by asking questions and by creating art. One of the clergy or a seminarian will always be present. This is an exciting development in our life as a community and you can learn more about what has been brewing by reading the Rector’s letter to families here.
Throughout the year we will have special activities for children and families. On Saturday, November 10th we will have our second annual Family Eucharist with Storyteller Bill Gordh at 4 P.M., and please save the dates for our Annual Family Christmas Party on the afternoon of Sunday, December 23rd, a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on February 12th at 5 P.M., and also for a Parish “Picnic” on Rogation Sunday, May 5th!
